WGN Morning News. On April 11, 2000, America awoke to see the ugliest picture ever taken of me. Despite that, and the fact that WGN kept saying the name of the site was "Bigwaste Dot Com" and their implication that I was not entirely responsible for the site Hey! National TV, Baby!
USA Today Hot Site. The Big Waste of Space is honored by USA Today, which crowns it a Hot Site for April 4, 2000.
Marshall Brain's HowStuffWorks. Who knew anyone would ever take this site seriously? Looks like The Big Waste of Space passes as a legitimate scientific reference — at least for HowStuffWorks and their article on How Bats Work. Apparently, my article on Austin's Congress Avenue Bats proved valuable for the section titled Beasts or Boon?
The Campus Rag. "America's Wholesome Campus News Source" reviews this site alongside the summer feature Shanghai Noon. The Big Waste of Space gets an A-, Jackie Chan gets a B.
